Please join the GTU community on May 10th for a one-day journey of reflection and prayer fellowship and scholarship remembering the work and legacy of Fannie Lou Hamer. This conference will provide opportunity to explore the theological and socio-political depths of Womanist theory and practice from different perspectives utlizing various modes.
This all day conference is free! Sponsored by SFTS CPE and Spirituality programs, it will include worship, presentations, plenaries, workshops and lunch!! As one of the guest presenters, I will present a workshop entitled "Embodied Spirits: Womanist Reflections in Spiritual Direction". I will present the art of spiritual direction in a fresh light through first-hand experience drawing clear connection of the practice with Womanist values.
