The Graduate Theological Union is guided by a distinguished group of academic, administrative, and faith leaders who are dedicated to advancing theological scholarship, interreligious engagement, and global ethical inquiry. Our leadership team works collaboratively to uphold the GTU’s mission of fostering interdisciplinary research, preparing future scholars and religious leaders, and contributing to the broader conversations shaping our world today. 

Office of the President

The President of the GTU provides strategic leadership and vision for the institution, ensuring its continued excellence in theological education and research. The Office of the President oversees institutional initiatives, external partnerships, and the advancement of GTU’s mission on a global scale. 

Office of the Dean

The Dean serves as the chief academic officer of the GTU, guiding curriculum development, faculty affairs, and student success across our consortium. The Office of the Dean supports innovative scholarship and fosters academic collaboration among our member schools and centers. 

Executive Leadership Team

Comprising senior administrators, the Executive Leadership Team works to implement the GTU’s strategic goals, oversee day-to-day operations, and ensure the financial and organizational health of the institution. 

Board of Trustees

The Board of Trustees provides governance and oversight, ensuring that the GTU remains a leader in theological education and interreligious dialogue. Composed of distinguished scholars, faith leaders, and professionals, the Board helps shape the long-term direction of the institution.
