The GTU community is saddened to report news of the death of Rev. Dr. Peter Yuichi Clark, who for the past 17 years has served on the GTU consortial faculty as Professor of Pastoral Care at American Baptist Seminary of the West.

Inauguration of ABSW's New President

Join the American Baptist Seminary of the West and the entire GTU community as ABSW celebrates the inauguration of its new president, Dr. James E. Brenneman. The ceremony will take place at the First Church of Christ, Scientist, 2619 Dwight Way, Berkeley, CA (across the street from ABSW). The GTU is deeply saddened to report news of the death of the Rev. Dr. Paul M. Martin, President of the American Baptist Seminary of the West. Dr. Martin died suddenly on Wednesday, March 23, during a trip to Denver.

Dr. Martin was a dynamic and beloved pastor, scholar, educator, preacher, radio commentator, and spiritual leader. He served in professional ministry for nearly sixty years, including more than fifty years as pastor of congregations in Colorado, California, and Virginia.
