Dr. Ahmed Khater is offering a series of classes on the various Islamic sciences as part of the UC Berkeley MSA program, co-sponsred by CIS. This second session on the Fiqh of Ramadan and Zakat provides an overview to the pillars of faith.

Dr. Khater is an assistant professor of Islamic Law who received his MA and PhD from the Graduate Theological Union in Berkeley, specializing in Islamic law. He also received bachelors degrees from both UC Berkeley and the Al-Azhar University.
