The GTU is the most comprehensive center for the graduate study of religion in North America. With a focus on interreligious and interdisciplinary perspectives, GTU faculty and students engage the world’s great religions and wisdom traditions in contemporary contexts. The GTU educates innovative leaders for the academy, religious organizations, and the nonprofit sector, equipping scholars to embody the critical thinking, ethical frameworks, compassionate values, and spiritual foundations essential to building a more just, peaceful, and sustainable world.
The GTU’s Interreligious Chaplaincy Program (ICP) equips leaders to practice spiritual care among diverse populations. Spiritual care is a vital need to practice chaplaincy in traditional and non-traditional settings, including hospitals, universities, prisons, the military, immigration, family and social services, disaster relief, airports, and corporations. This program prepares you to effectively serve persons from diverse religious backgrounds in a wide variety of situations and life stages. The Certificate classes can be completed fully online from certain US states.
This information session will provide an in-depth overview into the certificate program and give you the chance to ask your questions to our experts. It will be held virtually on Tuesday, July 2nd from 10:00am to 11:00am Pacific Time (PT).
